Recreational Baseball

Overview

The Hamilton Township Youth Athletics Recreational Baseball Program is designed to teach players the fundamentals of baseball while having fun. Baseball is a game that can last a lifetime providing years of fun and fitness. We are always looking for parents/adult volunteers to get involved in our baseball program, if you are interested in coaching or volunteering please let us know.

Divisions

Players are played in their respective divisions based on their birthdate. There will be five divisions with the number of teams in each division to be determined by registration:

Tee-Ball: Ages 4.5 to 6. Must be 4.5 by April 1st, 2023.

U8 Coach Pitch: Ages 7-8. Cannot be 9 before April 1st, 2023.

U10 Minor Baseball: Ages 9-10. Cannot be 11 before April 1st, 2023.

U12 Major Baseball: Ages 11-12. Cannot be 13 before April 1st, 2023

Pony League: Ages 13-14. Cannot be 15 before April 1st, 2023.

We suggest 6 year old's do not move up to coach pitch unless they have played at least 1 year of Tee-ball

Kids that participate on middle school baseball teams are not eligible to play U12 Major Division.
These players may register for the Pony League Division.

Please note: All players must be potty-trained and no longer in diapers or pull-ups

Coaching Opportunities

We are always looking for parents/adult volunteers to help by coaching a recreational baseball team.  We hope you will consider helping our HTYA Recreational Baseball Program by coaching or volunteering. If interested please contact [email protected]  (see our contact us page). Also there is a section in the online registration program to volunteer/coach.
