Spring Soccer 2024

Overview:
The Hamilton Township Youth Athletics Recreational Soccer Program is designed to teach players the fundamentals of soccer while having fun. Playing soccer can last well into adulthood, providing a lifetime of fun and fitness. We are always looking for parents/adult volunteers to get involved in our soccer program; if you are interested in coaching or volunteering, please either register as a volunteer through this website or email [email protected]. Parents that volunteer to head coach a team are eligible for a $25 refund.

Update for this season- please read!! We are planning to partner with other soccer programs within central Ohio for the U10 and U13 divisions. These divisions will be divided into girls teams and boys teams if enrollment numbers permit and will play games at fields throughout central Ohio. ´╗┐If registration is low, teams will be coed.

Also, there is a section in the online registration program to volunteer/coach.

When and Where are Games?

There will be 10 regularly scheduled season games followed by playoff games, with the exception of the U6 division. U6 will have 8 scheduled season games. Game start times can vary with weeknight games starting between 6pm and 7pm and Saturday game start times from 8am to 2pm. U6 and U8 games are held at the Hamilton Township Park; U10 and U13 games will be held throughout central Ohio as we are partnering with another league this season for these divisions.

When and Where are Practices?

Practice times are determined by each team's head coach. All practices are held at the Hamilton Township Park. Prior to the start of games, teams will practice two times per week for 45-60 minutes, with longer practices for older teams. Once games begin, teams can practice no more than once per week.

Game Cancellations

Games are canceled for lightning and/or flooded fields. Rain, sleet, wind and snow do not stop soccer. Dress appropriately. Games are not canceled by coaches, it is an HTYA Board decision 30 minutes prior. Games that have played 2 full quarters will not be rescheduled. The final score stands. Canceling practices is up to each coach, but may be canceled by the HTYA Board should there be lightning and/or flooded fields.
